1:1 Music Lessons
Develop your music ability in 1 on 1 lessons with Stephen Toon.
> 30min lessons (lessons are booked with a 5min buffer after, for transition between students)
> Available for Voice, Guitar, Bass, Intro to drums, Basic Piano, Intro to Home Recording and Music Theory
Semester package Payments and Pricing:
To get the best fee for your lessons, you can register for the whole semester. Our Fall semester starts on Sept 14 and it’s 13 weeks long. You can register and pay all up front, or opt for the 3 equal payments option. As always, pricing is based on the lesson time, prep time and our studio costs.
Prices: 1:1 Lessons start at $38 per lesson (30min lesson) when paid in full by e-transfer, cheque or cash.
If paying by credit card (online), lessons are $39.14
There is a one time Admin fee of $20 at registration and a recital fee of $25.

Be sure to choose the correct option before checking out. If you plan to pay by e-transfer, you won’t have to provide payment details, but after registering, you can email the owed amount to [email protected]
** Please note, for students not wanting to take lessons for the full season, I may open up booking and registration a little later – the fees will be higher and available lesson times will be fewer.
Teaching days and times:
I have a spreadsheet showing my available lesson times. After registration, you can hop on there and add your name to your desired day and time to book your spot for the season.
Right now, for 1:1 lessons I have available times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you don’t see a time that’s available for you, contact me and we’ll see what we can work out.
> 1 Recital (Date TBD, planning on second week of Dec, we usually go with a Monday or Tuesday night) Recital fee is $25
> Toonmade Lessons comes with access to our Lessons Hub, an app called Heartbeat, where we keep all our Lesson notes and resources.
> The fall 2023 Season Semester starts on Sept 14
No cancellations or postponements, except when sick or in the case of an emergency. If make-up lessons are needed for illness or emergencies, Stephen will open a couple days up for those extra bookings nearer the end of semester.
Lessons are at Oliver Alliance Church, 6835 Leighton Crescent, Oliver BC. Entrance to use is at the side/back where they have a smaller parking lot and a basketball hoop (sometimes laying on it's side). I typically come to let parents and students in/out in between lessons, so if door is locked we will see you soon.
