Group Guitar Lessons for Beginners
Do you want to learn to play guitar? Chords, strumming, finger-picking and even some improvising? You'll get some foundational guitar theory and fretboard understanding along the way as well!
This class is geared toward beginners of all ages, but it's recommended the student be at least 10 years of age. You will need your own acoustic guitar, or an electric. A beginner guitar is fine, but if the quality is not at a certain level, it will be hard to play and discouraging for the student. Beginner Yamaha Acoustics are great for starting, and Fender Squier electric guitars are good for beginners. Yamaha and Epiphone make good and affordable electrics too.
We will have a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 4. If we have 4 students, we will be going 75min to ensure everyone gets enough instruction time and their questions answered in each session. With less students the lesson will be shorter.
